The official forecaster ABARES is tipping that the Australian wheat crop will bring in 32 million tonnes, a record. The barley harvest is also set for a record, and other grains are doing well as farmers reap the benefit of a wet winter and favourable spring. However world markets are already awash with grain, keeping prices down.
