At the 10th European Organic Congress, in April 2016, in the Netherlands organisized by IFOAM EU and the Dutch organic organisation Bionext, there was a high level discussion on challenges and opportunities for organic farming under a new organic regulation. Representatives of the negotiators from Brussels – Diego Canga Fano, Commission, Martin Häusling, Parliament and Hans Hoogeveen, Dutch Ministery were present to talk about these issues with Pekka Pesonen, COPA-COGECA and Thomas Fertl, IFOAM EU Board.
