Rycke Brown, natural gardener, would like to start a small U-Pick farm in Josephine County, where she lives. However, according to Oregon state land use laws, to be zoned as farmland, a tract has to be at least 80 acres. To be allowed to build a house on a farm, you have to have 160 acres. This prevents people from starting small farms.
