Is This The Next Milo? – Roothy Bush Mechanics

April 26, 2016 By Editor

Description given on Youtube:

Home

Anyone who owns an old truck, or any vehicle for that matter, knows how close you can get to a machine when you spend enough time with it. With Milo that bond is extra strong because I built her in the first place and I’ve pretty much lived out of her for months every year since. And we’ve shared some pretty special adventures in this country too. Anyway no matter where we’ve been she’s always got me home. Not always ‘in one piece’ but we’ve made it. But with over a million Kilofrogs on the clock, including many of Australia’s toughest tracks, the time has come to look for a replacement for the longer hauls. When they say they’re ‘coming apart at the seems’ they’re not joking! I mean I could run Milo into the ground but that just wouldn’t be right. So when my mate Allan Gray stopped by a few weeks back I revealed what might be Milo “2”, that is after a shed load of work anyway. Plan is to still be able to use Milo for some of the lighter work, but build a “new” truck for the tougher/longer trips. Hmm, let’s see what Al reckons…
