The Origins of Fresh Start Organics is short video highlighting how Fresh Start Organics evolve from a backyard operation producing organic fertilizer from waste to becoming a diverse company running its own Organic Farm, Organic Food and Cosmetics Processing, Consolidation of Organic Products, Marketing and Distribution and Organic Store and Cafe.
Although the Company is a group of small companies, it now operates the organic supply chain and is in a better position to create positive change in how Filipinos Farm and we Eat.
Fresh Start Organics was founded by Ramon “Chinchin” Uy and Francine Marañon-Uy back in 2005.
An Organic Farmer, Social Entrepreneur and Young Leader in the Organic Movement in Negros Occidental, Ramon Uy Jr (Chinchin) is the Co-founder and President of Fresh Start Organics and Group of Companies and also the President of ONOPRA (Organic na Negros Organic Producers and Retailers Association), the umbrella organization of all organic stakeholders in Negros Occidental.
Together with more than 8,000 Organic Farmers, the Provincial Government and the rest of the Organic Movement in Negros, the company is determined to help make the island the Organic Food Bowl of Asia.
Fresh Start was selected as the 2014 Gawad Saka Western Visayas Most Outstanding – Organic Corporate Farmer by the Department of Agriculture Region 6.
