10. AUSTRALIAN PRIME MINISTER, MALCOLM TURNBULL LEAVING NEWS CONFERENCE

STORY: Australia announced that it will review a planned tax hike for foreign travellers who work in the country on Tuesday (May 17), following complaints from farmers in the lead up to a federal election that their supply of “backpacker labour” at harvest times may dry up.

The ruling conservative government, which is counting on the support of rural voters in the July 2 poll, will defer the tax increase and hold a review of labour force issues in rural and regional communities, Assistant Treasurer Kelly O’Dwyer said.

“We address the issues to do with the taxation and supply of working holiday makers who are coming to this country and making a fantastic contribution but also looking at much broader issues around labour force, particularly in rural and regional communities and how it affects our farmers but also our tourism sector as well,” O’Dywer told journalists in Canberra.

Under the proposal, foreign travellers on working holiday visas would have paid tax of 32.5 percent on every dollar earned from July 1, when previously they paid no tax on income up to A,000 (,100), the same as locals.

Farmers said the change would discourage holiday workers who make up the bulk of fruit pickers at harvest times, threatening the country’s fruit industry, which is set for record exports of A.27 billion (.66 billion) next season.

“It gives them absolute certainty to know they can come to Australia, they can work here, they can travel around Australian and really take advantage of all that Australia has to offer and at the same time, they can make a contribution, particularly in rural and regional communities, whether it’s part of being part of the seasonal workforce, picking grapes, whether it’s working in other aspects od rural industry or whether it’s working in the tourism industry which so many of them do,” O’Dwyer said of the foreign travellers.

Australia has encouraged backpackers to work on farms with special visas allowing them to stay for a second year if they do three months work in rural Australia.

But overseas workers had been targeted as an area to raise revenue as Australia looks to rein in ballooning budget deficits.

“There is no question that there have been issues with the so-called backpacker tax and that’s why we are reviewing it,” added Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull speaking in Darwin.

Australia’s A.8 billion international tourism industry was also threatened by the higher tax, with young travellers potentially deciding not to stay as long.

In total backpackers spend A.3 billion a year, worth about 12 percent of all international tourist spending.

Protests as debate over GM crops and pesticides heats up

May 20, 2016 By Editor

Description given on Youtube:
Protests have been held in more than 40 countries against the US food giant Monsanto and its genetically modified foods and pesticides.

From Mexico City to Burkino Faso, demonstrators made their anger felt at what they said was the threat to biodiversity and ecosystems from the company’s products.

Similar fears in Argentina have seen doctors sign a petition to get one herbicide – which is created by Monsanto – banned.

Doctor Medardo Avila Vasquez said: “If a woman gets pregnant during the per…

Geo-Engineering Australia Sydney Cronulla Bondi 2015

May 19, 2016 By Editor

Description given on Youtube:
The Nate Max Project

A short video showing first hand footage of the Geo-Engineering in and around Sydney Australia. We face total manipulation of the earth’s climate systems,we are being bombarded with geoengineering, solar radiation management, stratosphere aerosol injection, and the HAARP weapon here right on our door steps above our heads.

These are black projects done in secret, but the cat is out of the bag. These programs are not regulated and no one knows the effects it is doing on our bodies with these chemicals being sprayed all over the food, air and water we drink and breathe. Also the damage Nano particles are doing to our body’s immune systems is also unknown.
Time to look up to the sky people and start taking pics, posting and talking about this disaster which is happening around us. This will no doubt affect our kids and their future. If the ph. of the sea lowers due to these chemicals going in the ocean the plankton dies (which it is) atm we are already downs to 50% of our plankton supplies once that is gorn the marine life will die too, all of it.
If the soil PH is raised “which geo engineering is doing” our plants don’t grow and our food chain is destroyed. This is a very serious matter. Geo engineering is causing global warming not stopping it.
I suggest informing your selves on this matter and talking to your local members start a petition that we don’t consent to chemicals being sprayed on us.
Check out these movies on you tube to start with

“look Up”
“What in the world are they spraying”
“Why in the world are they spraying”

These conclusive docos shed light on this apocalyptic event we are facing.

Lord Christopher Monckton ends the Global Warming Debate and proves its a Hoax

May 19, 2016 By Editor

Description given on Youtube:
Lord Christopher Monckton is a hotly requested speaker in climate change and global warming debates. This is a presentation he gave to an audience in California where the government wanted to introduce climate change legislation.

Lord Christopher Monckton can almost be considered a neutral observer in the climate change and global warming debate. He takes a middle ground and says he does believe in global warming, but when you evaluate the statistics correctly, the impact on the environment is so tiny that the entire global warming fiasco is effectively a dupe.

This powerful presentation covers most of the general arguments used by global warming propagandists, and demonstrates the deceptive tactics and outright fraud that they use to steer public opinion on this matter with their fake graphs. Furthermore, he covers the topic from an economic view, and points out that the climate change hoax is nothing more than another tax grab from greedy politicians.

In fact, Lord Christopher Monckton even using the climate change scientists own figures to do some simple math, and shows that with their proposed tax schemes to stop global warming; 0 billion dollars will only reduce the effect of global warming by 1/1000th of a degree Fahrenheit. It is disgraceful and without doubt, maybe the greatest hoax of our lifetime.
