There’s a huge debate over whether GMOs are safe or not, but the evidence overwhelming points to the fact that GMOs are not inherently unsafe. Genetic modification of food, in fact, is very beneficial. Organic food is just an overpriced scam that’s built on a foundation of pseudoscience.

We continue to get tons of questions on some of the basics of Flux Cored Welding. The two most popular questions we get are:

Q → I get excessive splatter and popping when I try to weld in FCAW mode, what am I doing wrong?

A → First off, lets be clear; there will always be more spatter and popping in FCAW than there is in solid wire MIG welding. It is simply the nature of the process. However, if you are REALLY getting an excess amount, you probably forgot to switch your polarity. FCAW, unlike MIG, is performed in DCEN. So switch your ground and electrode and you will likely fix the problem.

Q → Why do my welds look like crap?

A → Well, assuming that it isn’t welder induced crap, the FCAW process produces a slag (and smoke) covering that don’t look all that aesthetically pleasing. Take a wire wheel to it and it cleans right up.

In this video we are going to show you the proper welding technique to get better looking and stronger flux cored welds. We will go over:
→ Setting drive roll tension
→ Changing the polarity
→ Torch angle
→ What to look for under the hood

Voice-over: Who would have thought that something that tastes so good is so good for you!

You can’t beat the refreshing taste of milk. It’s all thanks to an amazing animal — the dairy cow. Her milk is made into butter, cheese, yogurt, ice cream and refreshing milk – white and chocolate.

Young boy: Does chocolate milk come from brown cows?

Voice-over: Well, there are brown dairy cows. But the cow’s colour has nothing to do with the colour of her milk.

Young girl: How many different kinds of cows are there?

Voice-over: There are six common breeds of dairy cows in Canada: Holstein, Jersey, Guernsey, Ayrshire, Milking Shorthorn and Brown Swiss.

We’re all familiar with the black and white dairy cow, the Holstein. In fact, 92% of the dairy cows in Canada are Holsteins and there are more than a million of them across the country.
